Caro Bowl Update #3
|
Article dated: 23 October 2013
Audience: Public
Honda Cockle Bay fired a warning shot across the bows of all teams in the Scarbro Caro Bowl competition by convincingly beating defending champion Parnell by 5 matches to 1 last Friday night.
Cameron Norrie was dominant in his win over former New Zealand number one Mark Nielsen and was backed up by his team mates James Meredith and Jack Hopkins.
The team now sits first equal with Remuera 1 on the points table.
Caro Bowl takes a break this Friday due to Labour Weekend. Play resumes again on Friday 1st November with Cockle Bay up against Remuera 1 for another top of the table clash. It's another home game for Cockle Bay so come on down to the club and get behind our boys. Play gets under way at 6pm.
Don't forget we still have the Silent Auction running. This is a great opportunity to get a one-on-one 1 hour professional coaching lesson/hit up/game with your favourite Caro Bowl player. All proceeds to go the club. For more info, click here.
