Congratulations to IVICA BATNOZIC on receiving the full Wilson Tennis Academy Scholarship.

Ivica has been training at Manukau Tennis Centre for around 5 years and has achieved some fantastic results. He has been put in some hard work over the last few years and over the last few terms has been the player doing the most training & fitness sessions.

Here are some of Ivicas’ achievements
• Auckland Rep for the last 2 years
• Winner of the recent Albany 14 & under Singles and Doubles
• Winner of the Recent Auckland 14 & under Doubles and Runner up in the Singles
• Cockle Bay Club champ for Men’s Doubles, 15’s and 18’s Singles and Doubles

Ivica has become a part of the furniture at Manukau Tennis Centre and helps out with coaching on their Hot Shots program. He is also often down at Manukau Tennis Centre hitting with players of all levels or joining in a lower level squad just to help the players with their training.

Ivica’s current week of training consists of 6 squads, 2 fitness sessions and 1 private working on doubles with his partner.

With this Wilson Tennis Academy Scholarship Ivica will receive the following:
• Half Price for Squad Coaching
• One year contract as a sponsored Player with Wilson
• $500 worth of Wilson or Luxilon product.
• Pro Pricing (wholesale) through AceSports on all Wilson, Luxilon and Asics Products.



Contratulations also to KENDRA PAEA on receiving the Wilson Tennis Academy Part Scholarship. Kendra has been training at Manukau Tennis Centre since she started playing tennis.

Over the last few years Kendra has made some impressive progress and we are very proud of her achievements.

Here is a few of Kendra’s achievements:
• Achieved a National Ranking of 7.
• Runner up 14 & under Auckland tournament in her first appearance in the 14s
• Represented Auckland in the recent National teams event
• Went through National Teams event undefeated

With this Wilson Tennis Academy Scholarship Kendra will receive the following:
• One free Squad per term
• Pro Pricing (wholesale) through AceSports on all Wilson, Luxilon and Asics Products.



Congratulations Ivica and Kendra. We are very proud of them as both are excellent Junior role models for the club, both off and off the court.
