HAPPY 2019!!
Hope you are ready for an exciting year ahead on the tennis club front, we have some great happenings in the pipeline as well as a website upgrade.

Admin office is back to normal hours, however we will be closed on public holidays, Monday 25 January and Wednesday 6 February.


COMING UP IN 2019
We are happy to introduce 2 new events.
Pass on the word!

MUMS and BUBS
Starting mid-February on Wednesday mornings.
Come along for a game of tennis and enjoy a cup of coffee and a muffin afterwards while your little one is entertained.
A small weekly fee applies.
Club membership not required

BUSINESS HOUSE
Fridays, early evenings, starting mid-February
Enter a team of 4 players from your company or group of friends
Entry Fee applies
Club membership not necessary

DOUBLES LEAGUE
Tuesday and Thursday evenings | 7pm onwards
Starting mid-February, watch out for an email going out later this week.
Term 1 will be Team Tennis format.

CLUB CHAMPS
Delwyn Hayes (Club Captain) is finalising details, watch out for new ideas and formats which we hope will encourage more players to take part.

SENIOR INTERCLUB
Kick-starts on Saturday, 2 February


SENIOR CLUB COACHING
The coaches will be back in action from Wednesday, 13 February.
Coaching is offered to all senior club members on a Wednesday evening, 6.30 to 7.30pm.
2 coaches are available for 2 different levels of player abilities.


LED LIGHTING
The new LED lights for courts 1 to 4 have arrived in the country and will be installed very soon, this will greatly improve visibility on these courts at night.


HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
AceSports are running a holiday programme for kids this week between 9am and 12noon.

CASUAL BAR STAFF REQUIRED
We are looking for a person to go onto a roster for casual work to serve behind the bar. They will have sole responsibility as they are acting on behalf of the Duty Manager and therefore they will need to ensure they comply with the Bar Operational Rules and Host Responsibility that we are governed by under the liquor licensing authority.

Ideal person would need to possess the following attributes:
-Have had some experience serving behind a bar or a quick learner
-Honest and Reliable
-Friendly and welcoming
-Flexible and punctual
-Be of tidy appearance
-Prepared to enforce regulations
-Must be 18 years or over

Hours will vary but are usually:
Monday - Thursday 6.00pm - 11.00pm
Fridays 6.00pm - 11.00pm
Saturday's 3.00pm - 6.30pm

There will be some cases that you may be required on a Saturday evening or during the day on Sunday for some of our social events.
